WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE!
I am a professional flutist with over 30 years of experience as a performer and flute teacher. I hold the position of Affiliate Artist in Flute at Houston Baptist University, where I also teach Instrumental Chamber Music.
In my private studio in the Heights neighborhood of Houston, I teach flute students of all levels, ages 9 through adult. As a professional flutist, I perform recitals and concerts, most often with my colleagues at Houston Baptist University, and I perform as a free-lance musician for a great variety of venues. What matters most to me is what music expresses - that inner voice that reaches out to touch the souls of others.
It’s an intrinsic part of all kinds of music.
It has filled my life with meaning.
